How I Feel Right Now

Wow, what a year it has been.  My family and I have been through quite some highs and lows in 2010.  It all hit me tonight that my kids are growing up, Matt's going to be 5 in 2 months!!!!  Both of my youngest wanted to read Christmas stories before bed tonight, and I don't know, it struck a chord in me.  Another year over, they go so quickly now, all I know is that I want to catch as many moments as I can, I don't want to forget.  I also spent some time thinking of those I've lost this last year, my step-grandma Reba, and my bio-mom Karen.  I also feel a little sad that I lost my dear grandma Nancy in 2004.

Now that the holidays are over, the tree has been put away, Christmas stuff is back in the shed, and the two oldest go back to school tomorrow already.  Hubby goes back on Tuesday, so everything is back to normal.  Back to bedtime routines, school, lunches packed.  I can hardly believe it.

All I can say is, live for today, cherish it with all your heart, that magical moment will pass.  Don't forget it or take it for granted.
