Getting this year started

I finally filled out my nursing school application today.  I am going to try to hand it in rather than mail it the day of my first class (1/12).  I was very careful, read it line by line, dotted the i's and crossed my t's.  I then sealed it into the manila envelope.  I felt relieved.  Later today though, I thought, the date is wrong.  Good thing the envelope is cheap, it opened right up.  And I had written 2010.  Changing to a new year is hard, but it gets easier.
